About the event:
On November 12, 2025, the scientific center «Smart technologies for sustainable development of the urban environment in the context of global changes» of ATI RUDN University will organize an international scientific seminar «Green roofs in russian cities». The event will be held in a mixed format on the Yandex Telemost platform. The working language is Russian.
Green roofing is one of the most promising approaches to improving the quality of urban green infrastructure. In Russia, this area is currently underdeveloped; however, new examples of such projects are emerging, which may provide a foundation for the broader implementation of green roofs in the country.
The seminar will review experiences in developing green roof projects in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, and Rostov-on-Don.
