Analysis and mapping multi-elemental pollution
Description
Multi-elemental pollution of soil, sediments, water and food is one of the main health risks in urban and technogenic ecosystems. In comparison to the conventional approaches of environmental assessment based on a limited number of elements, the multi-elemental analysis allows simultaneous measurements of more than 20 elements, including rare elements (e.g., As, Ti, Mb, V and Cr). These results are especially valuable for the complex environmental assessments based on pollution indexes (e.g., Zc, PINemerow , PI, PERI etc), which are considered for land-use planning and land management restrictions in accordance to Russian and international legislation
