Elvira Dovletyarova is Associate Professor, Director of the Department of Landscape Design and Sustainable development at RUDN University of Russia, PhD. Vice-president of the Russian Association of Landscape Designers (ALAROSA). Member of International Federation of Landscape Architects, Moscow Alliance of Landscape Architects, Russian Dokuchaev Soil Science Society, Russian Educational and Methodical Association in the direction of Landscape Architecture. Graduated from the Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev (RSAU-MTAA) in 2001. Defended PhD dissertation in ecology entitled “Influence of anthropogenic pollution on the microflora of sod-podzolic soils of forest ecosystems (for the case of the Forest Experimental Station RSAU-MTAA)” in RSAU-MTAA (2005). She has experience in the participating the projects “Smart and sustainable cities: from environmental threats towards nature-based solutions and sustainable management”, “Environmental Consequences of Urbanization: Landscape Architecture to Support City Sustainable Development”, “Modern Landscape Design” etc. Author of more than 30 papers in scientific journals, 4 monographs, 2 book chapters (Springer). Organizer of 5 international scientific events. Co-chair of the organizing committee of the world congress on urban soils SUITMA 9.
